Transcription of the currently available portions of the New Brunswick Census has been completed! Congratulations and thanks to all the volunteers who helped out!
There are parts of Saint John and York Counties that Library and Archives Canada missed when they digitized the microfilms. I notified them about the missing sections back in August, hopefully they will add the missing images before too long. |

| The missing sections have been put up on the LAC web site and are available for transcription. (this was done a while ago, I forgot to post here at the time) |

Unless I have missed something, the 1851 New Brunswick census is now completed, again. Unless there are some more sections to be added later. _________________ Just my thoughts. Not that it really it matters 'cause nobody pays attention to what I think, anyways!

| Kevin Hanit has claimed 7 pages that still have to be transcribed. |

Marilyn,
Those 7 pages in Saint John County, Dukes and Queens Wards have no names what so ever on them and will not be transcribed.
That is why I claimed them without transcribing them. _________________ Kevin Hanit |

Kevin
Do you think that those pages should be unlocked? I could not look at them because once they have been claimed there is no way to view them. People will not be able to check them and see that they are empty.

Marilyn,
I will go in and put one blank line on each page, so that people can see that they are empty.

They seem to have made LAC even more obscure, and a worrying connection to the subscription only Ancestry.ca
What's the link to see the scanned pages again?
Thanks
