Sorry I haven't been able to find the right place to post this--will a moderator move it to the right sub-forum, please?

I have a correction to offer for the 1911 census.

British Columbia,
Comox-Atlin district,
2 Alberni, page 5, line 14.

The original is very faint, so it was transcribed as "Strachan, ? , daughter, 5".

The oldest child of James A and Martha STRACHAN is named Jessie. I knew her when she was an old lady.

Jane,

Line 14 - The given name has been corrected to "Jessie(?)" where the "(?)" is to indicate that name is not readable but it looks like "Jessie". This is the convention dictated to use for these type of cases.

Thanks,
