I see something has happened and the forum has been "rebooted". That explains why I could not sign-in!
If I am doing this wrong, please delete or move as needed, as this is a minor correction.

On this page: http://www.automatedgenealogy.com/censu ... p?id=80039

LINE 8 the year should be 1887 not 1867 for "Johnston, Harry".

Richard

Line 23 Green, John Frederick is JULY 1875 (Milton, Halton County, Ontario)

it shows Line 23 and Line 24 having same birth month and year but clear on original.

Milton Ontario Soldier#75658
Lied on Attestation Paper, showed 27 September 1877

Richard,

Line 23 - The birthday and age have been corrected to Jul 1875, 35. The Relationship appears to be "Slo?man".

Richard,

Line 4-6 - The surname has been corrected to Bailey. (Without knowing the actual surname, it is practically impossible to decypher what the enumerator wrote, because of the overwritting.)

The 1911-WW I link has been done for Edwin.

Thanks,

24-10 8 97 Clement Alma?
24-10 7 97 Clement Russell

Alma is correct as Russell Mathew Clements WWI Attestation Papers (#2688437) list his next-of-kin as his wife Alma Pearl Clements.

I also note that the last name should be Clements (with an "s") as he is son of William Clements and Drusilla Bowbear(LINK)

James Henry Etherington (#663089) shows that name and his wife as Sibil Etherington.

Looking at the original from LAC I would say the wife is SYBIL and not ETHEL as shown. The text appears almost identical to the daughter's name.

Who knows with record is correct in the spelling of Sibil or Sybil. I have never heard of Sibil.

The first 6 lines on this page should be FARLOW.

James Gordon Farlow, November 9, 1896 - the date- and (#663590)

Ref.: A. 1911 / Ontario / Halton / 24 Milton / page 10
B. 1911 / Ontario / Halton / 22 Milton / page 3
C. 1911 / Ontario / Halton / 22 Milton / page 8

Richard,

Ref. A.
Lines 7-8 - No correction required because the enumerator wrote the surname without the ending "s"; and
Line 8 - The enumerator wrote some other unreadable letters after the last "a" of "Alma" that is why there is a "?" as part of the transcribed given name.

The 1901-WW I link has been done for Clement Russell

Ref. B.
Lines 26-28 - The surname has been corrected to "Etherington"; and
Line 27 - The given name has been corrected to "Sybil Gertrude".

The 1901-WW I link has been done for Etherington James Henry

Ref. C.
Lines 1-6 - The surname has been corrected to "Farlow".

The 1901-WW I link has been done for Farlow Gordon.
