When I search Callow the family does not come up with out adding the question mark.

The family of Edward & Kate Callow does not currently appears when a search for the surname Callow is done because the indexes (Provincial and District) have not yet been updated. This is done via a special process initiated by the site manager usually once a month.

The enumeration district index is the only one updated as a correction is implemented.

Please note that when searching for the surname Callow, which has the soundex code of C400, it also provide the list of surname with that same soundex code. The surname Callow? is amongst that list.
