I am looking for Hattie Pray (s) parents name.
Also William Merrill (s) parents name.
I found William and Hattie merrill and all thier children on the 1911 census.
William and Hattie are my great great Grandparents

I am also looking for Hazen Jeffery (s) parents names.

Also... John (aka Jack) merrill, he was one of William and Hattie Merrill (s) children and he worked for the canadian border patrol for many years.

anyone with any information please respond to jenosgood@hotmail.com

I found the Marriage Record for William and Hattie through Ancestry.ca -it's not in the Prov. Archives of NB for some reason. It does not mention her parents' names though. One of the witnesses was Lilly Pray.
http://search.ancestry.ca/iexec?htx=Vie ... pid=174879

PANB has a Marriage Record for Hazen Jeffrey to Annie Merrill (1913)

According to 1911 Census,Hattie Pray was born in the US. This was not uncommon as a lot of people from that part of NB were born in the US but were Canadian.I only have ancestry.ca but ancestry.com might give you more info. The NB Archives are great for info if you haven't already discovered that.Good luck finding their parents......I was wondering about Stephen Merrill as possible William's father but have not found any real connection.
Good searching -if I can be of further help, please reply and I'll see what I can do.

I just located Hattie Pray in the 1881 census with her family.Father John,Mother Lucy and several siblings. The link is:
http://search.ancestry.ca/cgi-bin/sse.d ... da&indiv=1
Lucy was Lucy Ann Ross b 20June 1843 -Ancestry.ca has a family tree "Ross/Saunders Family Tree" which you would find most interesting. Not sure if you have to be a member to access it.

@ Cheryl, Thank you so much for the informtion you found. I do not have pay sites so I am not able to access very much online. I called my father (Ralph Osgood age 76) today to tell him the that a nice lady online found out his great, great, great grandmothers name (Lucy ann Ross) he always new there was a Ross surname in the family, just didnt know where. Thank you so much for searching for me Cheryl, you made my dad happy.

Sincerely: Jennifer Osgood

According to the familysearch website Hattie was born in NB
http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/ ... rompage=99
Is this the same Hattie?

And I wonder if the Lucy Ross found in the 1851 NB census could be the right Lucy

You're welcome,Jen -glad I made your Dad happy! Also, Dot's info will add to it.where it says "Native" in the 1851 Census, that means born in NB.
A hint about Ancestry.ca -they quite often will give you a free couple of weeks to try it out.You have to register and give a credit card # but (and you have to remember to do this!) you can cancel it before the date they give you and no charge is put through.Sometimes they have good deals and Ancestry.ca is not nearly as expensive as Ancestry.com.
All the best -
Cheryl
