1911 Census correction request:

Ontario Hamilton East Ward 6 Enumeration 5 Page 25 Line 20

Reads Springstead Nuton

Should Read Springstead Newton

See 1901 Census Hamiton City e-8 page 10 line 35 as confirmation.

Line 20 - the given name has not been corrected because the enumerator wrote "Nuton", a phonetic spelling of "Newton".

It is the policy of this site to transcribe the name as written by the enumerator.

the 1901-1911 link has been done for Springstead Newton.
