The surname of lines 2-5 have been corrected to "Kushnieryk" which is what I read the enumerator wrote.
Please note that this is a transcription of the original records, the transcribed name must reflect as accurately as possible the original content of the census records.
As "Kushnieryk" has the same soundex code (K256) as "Kushniryk" no alternate surname is required.
Please note that although this was written for the 1901 census, the first one transcribed, it applies to all censis
