http://www.automatedgenealogy.com/censu ... mode=proof The surname notes at the bottom of the page are incorrect and should be removed, please. Surname is Pelham. The other note stating this fact could also be taken off. Thanks! |

Hi Marilyn - Pages 2, 3, 4 and 5 all have surname notes that are incorrect. They mention 1901 as the source and 1901 spellings are all incorrect. Thanks. http://www.automatedgenealogy.com/censu ... mode=proof |

Cheryl I have removed a number of the surname notes because they were obvious misspellings in the 1901 census. However, I hesitate about removing the alternative surname Snair because I would not be surprised if some families have simplified their names from Schnare to Snair and would search for Snair. What do you think? Marilyn |

Hi Marilyn - I looked up "Snair" in NS Vital Stats and there are quite a few of them so I think you're right to leave it. Thanks for thinking of that. Cheryl |
