TRANSCRIBED SURNAME: GONDIAN
SUGGESTED SURNAME: GOODHEW

William and Charlotte Goodhew are my great-grandparents. The enumerator's surname entry is definitely not clear, but the other details for the Goodhews are compatible with information in other census records. The 1921 census shows the Goodhews living at 3 N. Clifton, having relocated from 1-1/2 N. Clifton (1911). FYI, my grandparents William (son of William and Charlotte) and Alice Goodhew had lived at 3 N. Clifton (1911 census), subsequently moving to North Park St. (1921 census).

Well done for finding them in 1911 given the corruption of the name by the enumerator. The rules of this index is that we must transcribe what is written even if it is "wrong". I have therefore submitted to a correction to something closer to what I read, and have added a surname note to guide searchers when they look for "Goodhew".
