District 5, ward 5, page 5: Line 41 - Should be Widower, not Married. Age should be 65 not 41. Line 42 - Should be Daughter not Wife District 6, Ward 6, page 16: Line 11 on the manuscript is actually missing, line 16 is repeated. The lines in between are misnumbered due to this. District 6, Ward 6, page 25: Line 15 should be sister, not son District 6, Ward 6, Page 33: All of the family numbers are incorrect. The numbers for column 1 were used accidentally. District 6, Ward 6, Page 40: Rutter family should be family 345. |

I have reviewed and accepted Michel's corrections. I've also added a correction of my own, to Rose Elba's Household number. Thank you both for your contributions. MArk |

I'm happy to. I'm only looking at every tenth family in Hamilton East and Hamilton West, but I'm happy to enter everything I find. Thanks. |

Hi, I have a question. It seems like all of the pages I have seen so far done by Pattie Kelley have used the numbers from column 1 for column 2. Is there a faster way to make the corrections by opening the whole spreadsheet for that page as a whole, or must we submit the corrections line by line. I'm not sure how much those errors are a priority...they are important to my research which is why I have noticed, but I imagine most people doing genealogy wouldn't be interested in their family's 'number' in the district. Thanks! Katie |

Hello Katie, I accepted all your requests for correction. That's the proper way to proceed in that case. http://automatedgenealogy.com/census11/ ... anada+page I have reviewed all the pages in that district and it seems that there aren't too many defective pages. So my best recommendation is to proceed just like you did. Thanks for your patience and interest. Michel Dubois, Quebec City. |
