I think the McLachie household listed on lines 18, 19 and 20 of page 22 of Enumeration District 39, Vancouver City in BC are the McLuckie family who can be found in the 1901 census (with a bit of variation on the years of birth). If so then Annie is Annette. The combination of Scottish contractor husband and French-born wife is the same for both households. John built many of the largest and important buildings in early Vancouver.

I have corrrected the surname to McLuckie (as enumerated) and linked them to 1901.http://www.automatedgenealogy.com/censu ... mode=proof
Thanks for the information.Maybe you could put a short line note about Mr. McLuckie's accomplishments or just his occupation so people could properly connect him to Vancouver's history.
