I have not been able to find the Census pages for Haida Gwaii (Queen Charlotte Islands) in the 1901 Census - the equivalent pages in the 1911 Census are in Enumeration District 46: Atlin, Comox-Atlin, British Columbia. Where my I find the 1901 equivalent? Thanks, Peter |

Just found this!  1901 The original 1901 census returns for Atlin in northern BC was lost in the sinking of the steamer, Islander. These were taken over again but it was reported in December, 1901, that "They will be fully 600 short so many having left for the winter."
