Alain, I searched http://automatedgenealogy.com/census11 for the surname Caffet and found no entry for that surname. I also search for the surname Nicaise and found only one entry: Surname Givens Age Province District Nicaise Iguace 50 Alberta Red Deer Please provide the URL of the location where you found the reference to the marriage of your cousin CAFFET Augustus with NICAISE Jeanne. Alain, I found the following: You may want to communicate with ACaffet@SaskEnergy.com whose grand parents are also Gustave Caffet and Jeanne Nicaise. In a request for information, he stated that they left Belgium in the early 1900's by ship and believe they landed in Montreal, Canada. Certificate of naturalisation for Gustave Caffet and wife Jeanne Nicaise on 5 Jul 1929. I was not able to find the marriage record itself with my current means. Cheers, |
