Eldoradon,

I look for your uncle in the 1901, 1906 and 1911 but was not able to locate him in order to create the requested link.
Please provide the the census year, province, district, sub-district, page and line # for the entry of your uncle
COLLIN, WILFRED JOSEPH, Regimental number(s): 808994.

Thanks,

Hello , I am new to this site. Wilfred Collin came from near Carmangay, Alberta, Canada. I could not find census records for him or my mother born 1917. They may have only lived there a short time. I have records to send you of his enlistment and grave site and others. His Attestation Paper lists him as #808994 Mar14, 1916. I tried but paste them to this reply but won't work. Please give me an email address that I can send record copies and picture to you.
Thank you. Don Davis

Don,

There is no need to send me documents or picture until Wilfred's 1901, 1906 or 1911 record is located. Without one of these, I can not do anything with any records you would send me.

As for Louis Donat, I could not locate one of the above census record for him.

Sorry,

Alain,
I located "Donat Collin" in the 1901 Census and his WW1 attestation which I linked to his enlistment record (enlisted only as Louis Collin- no Donat)

http://automatedgenealogy.com/census/Vi ... nat+Collin

and

http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/data ... a14c703p16

I then discovered that someone else had linked 1906 to 1911. When I tried to join the 1901 and enlistment to the existing 1906-1911 link I get a Id confilct.

You'll probably need to sort the conflict out...it appears again when I try to link other members of the family.

Cheers

Dan

Dan,

I resolved the ID conflicts completed the 1901-1906-1911 links for the members of the Collin L. Joseph household.

Thanks,

Don,

I made the WWI-CVWM-1901 link for Collins Wilfred L..
The 1901-1911 link was already done.

Thanks,
