Can anyone please tell me what is the meaning of the small flag which appears beside some names in the census? |

Ruth, The flag in the line number column means that, located below the transcription, there is note referring to that line: either a line note, a surname note, and/or a correction note. While the @ in the line number column means that located below the transcription, there is a Researcher contact information referring to that household. Cheers, |
