I have found my grandfather and family in the transcribed pages of this site but the original pages do not exist in the Canada census archives. If possible can someone advise me why that would be. All help much appreciated. Thanks Bill |

The pages on this site are transcribed from the images posted on the Library and Archives Canada (LAC) site. If you click on the "Split Screen" link on one of our pages, it will take you to the image on the LAC site. If this does not work, please inform us of the location (Province, District, Subdistrict and page) so that we may correct it. Thank you for your interest. |

Hello Marilyn Thank you for your reply and I am sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I did find the original pages, Thanks for the tip. There is however an error which is not the transcribers error, just a poor original. He is listed as W B Williams, it should be W D Williams. His full name was William Duncan Williams. ( Please correct if possible.) 1911 census, Victoria district, twnshp 49, enumeration district 2, page 13, line 35, entry 193 Thanks again Bill Williams |

Ref.: 1911 / Alberta / Victoria / 2 Townships 49 / page 13 Line 35 - As the enumerator clearly wrote "W B" for the initials, no corrections are required. Added a note: "The initials should be "W D". His full name was William Duncan Williams." Is this him in 1901 so I could do a link? Thanks, |
