Thank you all, for all your work, all these years.

I just noticed something, some notes in the 1852 census

Here: 1852 / Canada West / Lennox (county) / 202 Richmond township / p. 9d, 10a, (25)
http://automatedgenealogy.com/census52/ ... +A+Pringle

My entire Pringle family has concise notes attached, obviously not part of the transcription, who might have added these?

Again thanks for your time
Randy

Hi Randy -

Unfortunately it is not possible to determine who left the detailed, line-by-line notes on the 1852 Pringles. One possibility is the transcriber however he or she is identified only by the initials "TGB". I checked some of the Pringles listed in the 1901 index of Lennox Co. as that census has a formal feature for individuals to register by researcher contacts but don't see that anyone has done so for this family.

The notes are indeed impressive. One benefit of you flagging them here is that the last one (line 33) points out a likely transcription error. I agree with the note and have therefore corrected the line to read "Pringle, L."

Also, thanks to the note's full name and precise birth date allowed me to find and link Solomon between 1852 and 1901. A link between 1901 and 1911 was already in place.

Thanks for your input and interest in the project. Mark

Thank you Mark for the response.

Can anyone add info like that?

Randy

Hi Randy -

For the 1901 census, anyone can add line notes, suggested corrections or list themselves as a researcher contact. However for the other censuses it requires registering as a volunteer on the site first.

Thanks. Mark
