SEARCHING FOR INFORMATION RE:

~~~ Edward Ellwood Allison ~~~
I am looking for information from anyone who can tell me anything about Edward Ellwood Allison who appears in the 1901 Canada Census as 1 year old and son of Thomas Allison.
Both appeared to be living at the Grandparents home (John and Margaret Allison) at the time of the 1901 Census in Kingston, Ontario.
The Census also states that Edward was born in the US.
There is no mention of his mother. What happened?
Edward married my Grandmother December 17, 1918.
We know that he worked at Fort Henry as a Soldier.
We don't know what ever happened to him.
Have many questions....
Did he and my Grandmother get divorced, or their marriage annulled?
Any searches I have made always turn up empty except for pictures which may be of his grave.
This particular grave says:
(Ted) Darling
1897 - 1934
Husband of
Mildred Allison.
(That is NOT my Grandmother).
Maybe it is not the same man's grave?
If anyone knows anything about him, please contact me
Thanks!
