Hello,

Simon-Napoléon Parent has been a Mayor of Quebec City, a provincial deputy, a minister and then the liberal Prime Minister of the province of Quebec from 1900 to !905.

In 1911, he was living in Ottawa, as the president of a federal bureau dedicated to the management of water and rivers.

Here is his page to adjudicate in 1901 in the lower town of Quebec City:

The whole subdistrict would deserve an adjudication with 319 requests for correction reported.

Thanks so much (and welcome back Alain, we missed you!)

Michel Dubois.

Hi Michel -

I have adjudicated that page and will return to do the rest of the pages in the subdistrict as time permits.

Thanks. Mark

Hello Mark,

Thx so much for your visit in Quebec City. The Carnival is over but the City is still charming.

Cheers.

Michel.

Hi Michel -

On page 11 of this sub-district lines 7 and 8 were reversed by the transcriber. I have corrected this but there is a 1911 link for one of the entries which I don't have the ability to move. If it was you who did the linking then you have ability to delete your own link and redo it to the correct line. If it was someone else, then we will have to appeal to Alain to delete the link.

Thanks. Mark

Hello Mark,

Right on the spot! You found a mistake on my grandfather's family page. You're a pro. I corrected the links for that page since I dressed the links for almost a 100% of the Quebec City area. Finally, I'm on the midst to link all the married ladies between 1901 and 1911 for the Quebec City area.

BTW, the adjudication process is really progressing in Drummond, Bonaventure and Gaspé districts. Quite a job though!

Thanks again for your dedication,

Michel Dubois.
