DianaY, the transcribers are required to record the information as written by the enumerator. In the first instance, I found that Constantine's record is linked to the 1906 census, where it appears as Kost Evtoda (Eftoda), and to the 1911 census (which may require correction). Hi Diana - The objective of this index is to transcribe "as written" and in 1901 I read "Iftoda". I have therefore added a surname note for each of these 3 households for "Eftoda" which will help direct anyone searching using the index to them. I note also that they are transcribed in 1911 as "Eftoda" and someone has linked the families between the censuses so that will also assist researchers looking for these families.
