The census page I'm looking at appears to have the township number for all households written as "40" but the transcript says "41" for all entries. It does not appear to be a legibility problem. Can anyone explain this discrepancy?

It appears to be an error of cut & paste.
The line notes have neen remoned and replaced by the proper transcription in column 4.
