Hello,

I'm working on the transcription of the last pages not yet identified as transcribred in Rimouski.

Strange enough, since I link the records just after transcription, I realized that some of the records just transcribed are already linked.

As an example, Roy Vital should be the next record to transcribe in 1911 and the 1901 record for him already points towards the right subdistrict in 1911:

Is it the effect of a magic trick or a result of the alignement of planets?

I would rather suspect a loss of already transcribed records.

You're not alone Michel....I have been experiencing the same thing while transcribing pages in B.C.
I thought I felt someone looking over my shoulder, telling me to type fasterbut I just ignored them :D !!

Cheers

Dan

Merci.

Michel Dubois.

Lindsay has looked at this situation and concluded that pages are not being lost for no reason. One guess is that the original transcriber did not claim the page. This would allow anyone to alter or remove the data. Hard to believe, but it is his best guess so far.
