Hello, I would like to provide a correction on the 1911 census found here: http://automatedgenealogy.com/census11/View.jsp?id=93486&highlight=42&desc=1911+Census+of+Canada+page+containing+Jane+Aralind+Cripps The error is on line 42 in household 145. The name is listed as Cripps Jane Aralind, but should read Cripps Jessie Arnold. Her husband's name on line 41 above her is also spelled wrong. It should be Gideon and not Gedion. This can be linked to the 1901 census found here: http://automatedgenealogy.com/census/View.jsp?id=51766&highlight=48&desc=1901+Census+of+Canada+page+containing+Gideon+Cripps on lines 48 and 49, household 31. These are my great, great grandparents, Gideon Cripps and Jessie Arnold Cripps. Thank you. |

Ref.: 1911 / Ontario / Grey North / 45 Owen Sound / page 13 Debra, Line 42 - I corrected the first given name to Jessie but not the second one because the transcription must reflect the name the enumerator wrote. Although tI can not actually read the second given name, it does not appers to me to be Arnold. A friendly soul made the 1901-1911 link. Thanks, |
