Hello,

I'm exhausted. I need a rescuer on those two pages:

http://automatedgenealogy.com/census11/ ... anada+page

http://automatedgenealogy.com/census11/ ... anada+page

Lots of problems: HH numbers defective, bad calligraphy, russian names, romanian names, bad YOB...

Please, help!

Thanks so much,

Michel Dubois, Quebec City.

Hi Michel -

You may have noticed that I started on the first page, but now have visitors so will get back to them only in a few days.

Cheers, Mark

Hi Michel -

I've completed the first page and hope I haven't unintentionally deleted a correction without accepting. I'm finding it very confusing with the 1911 system when there more than one correction is made on a line as separate entries. This is unavoidable if more than one proofreader makes entries, but as much as possible it would be good if we enter corrections for a line in a single entry.

You'll note that I have add a few corrections of my own for you to review on page 9, as well as page 6.

Cheers, Mark

Hello Mark,

Thanks very much. You've done it like a pro.

I agree with you that preferably all the requests for corrections should be grouped under the same record. But it's not so easy in such similar cases where you have that many type of errors. The proofreader relies then on the experience of the adjudicator to properly deal with the great number of requests of corrections involving at the same time HH errors which are often detected at the end of the process.

Thanks again and that page is now clear. Youpee!

Michel.

I've now completed the review of the 2nd page. Well done on your research of some tricky names.

In household 79, Beckey in 1901 is linked to Benjamin instead of Bocky in 1911. If you did the linking, you will be able to change this. If it was someone else, then we will have to appeal to Alain or Marilyn to correct.

Cheers, Mark

Hello Mark,

The link problem that you detected is now corrected. You have the eyes of an eagle!

We can now both rest on our two ears after that bunch of corrections on those two pages.

Cheers,

Michel.
