Hello, I've worked a lot in an attempt to proofread the St-Ludger district in 1911. Not so easy in that case, since the district has been very badly enumerated: illegible calligraphy, soundwritten names, estimated YOB and MOB. Furthermore, since the area is close to the US boarder, many families weren't in Canada in 1901. On the other hand, I made many searches on the LAC1921 census, trying to decipher the illegible entries. My father-in-law was born in St-Ludger in 1909 and his family moved to St-Romain in 1920. As a start, I would appreciate the adjudication of at least two pages: http://automatedgenealogy.com/census11/ ... anada+page http://automatedgenealogy.com/census11/ ... anada+page Thanks so much, Michel Dubois, Quebec City. |

Hi Michel - Wow what a mess. Well done for tackling it. I have adjudicated the 2 pages accepting all of your corrections except for page 10, line 2 where I think it is "Marie Anne", as transcribed. I have also added some additional corrections on the bad lines, which you would likely have seen anyway when you returned to the pages. This way you can review and clear them right away. I have a busy time over the next week so am unlikely to have much AG time, but will try to remember to return to this subdistrict later in the month to look at the rest of the corrections. Cheers, Mark |

Hello Mark, Thanks for correcting those 2 pages. I appreciate your support. I'll be away myself for the coming week. It's good to breath some fresh air from time to time, away from errors and puzzles. See you then, Michel. |
