Hello,

Still working hardly. I always found that there a "delete line function missing" for adjudicators. See:

I would be just nice to delete line 22 and renumber the lines.

Thanks for your follow-up,

McMichel.

Bonjour Michel -

The delete line was there for me and so it is gone, I renumbered the lines and indeed all the corrections are magically done! Because they are no longer relevant, I've deleted them. Am I correct in remembering that you have used this function before and usually see it in 1911? It will only show up when you are in the 'Proof page' format - it doesn't appear in view or split-view. With that line gone, you can test by having a look at another page with a blank line.

Glad to see you are still plugging away - much appreciated!

Mark

Hello Mark,

Thanks for your updates and valuable explanations on the use of the "delete" function. As suggested, I'll test.

Have a good week,

Michel.

Hello Mark.

After some tests, I think that the main issue is that I'm not authorized to delete a line. Then, I must refer to you to pursue the updatings.

Thanks for reviewing,

Michel.

Hi Michel -

Lindsay has just activated this function for you. If you are currently logged in, you may have to sign off and sign back in. I should have asked whether you have the 'renumber lines' function which is sometimes needed after deleting a line. There are also times when you can use the 'delete line' function if something has been transcribed a line that isn't a person, such as a church or business. In this sort of case, you then go to the 'transcribe' function and reenter the line number, leaving everything else blank.

Let me know if you encounter any problems. Thanks. Mark

Hello Mark,

Some sort of magic action rendered me enabled to delete a line. Thanks for your divine prayers. Otherwise, I can use all the other functions and worked a lot with those, especially in the west provinces.

Thanks also to Lindsay.

Michel.
