Michel,
Do I transcribe the "F" in the place of birth of the 1852 census?
The place of birth should be transcribed as written including the "F" when it is not part of the drop down menu. (i.e. "Bas Canada F" is not the same as "Bas Canada".)
In order to minimise the number of submitted corrections, I would handle the situation as follows:
If the whole page has the "F" in the birth place field, I would submit only one correction and add a note to it stating the the "F" must be transcribe for every line.
If a correction is required to another field, I would also add the place of birth correction as part of the submitted correction for that line.
In the cases where it is not for the whole pages then one correction for each group of line with the appropriate note.
This way the correction situation is clear to the individual implementing the corrections.
Cheers,
