Thx for the corrections. My interpretation is:

-Md. for Madeleine

-St-Charles Belch (for Bellechasse).

You can look at this site:

http://www.duquette.org/ENGLISH/Database/dat7.htm (...Find Madeleine Therrien).

Both parents (Duquet and Therrien) are from St-Charles de Bellechasse but Cyrille was born in Quebec City.
