There is a mistake in the surnames for this family: Home / 1852 / Canada West / York (county) / 402 York township / p. 48d, 49a, (342) 41 Milan?, Sam'l Gentlman Scotland Methodist 85 M 42 Fl/Hayes, Mary A Canada Methodist 45 F 43 McGuin, Jane Domestic Canada Methodist 16 F 44 Rayman, Jno Canada Methodist 13 M 45 Hay, Lucy Canada Methodist 6 F Line 41 should read closer to SINCLAIR not Milan? Line 42 Should read HAYES not Fl/Hayes Samuel SINCLAIR (or sometime spelled SINCKLER) was an United Empire Loyalist (and was a War of 1812 soldier) and Mary was his step-daughter (daughter of Timothy SKINNER, Jr.) |
