Hello Alain, Very well done. Thanks so much. For once, LAC was already OK for that family. BTW, I stopped sending them requests for corrections since they don't follow up. I'll resume later on, if they process the 500 requests I sent them. On my opinion, their accuracy of data is in the area of 30 to 40% for the Quebec City districts. I found there very funny transcriptions like 'Veuvesale' for 'Veuve de Félix' or 'Désencules' for 'Desmeules' or 'Megtoire Bearhard' for 'Magloire Bouchard'. I worked hard to progress in the transcription of the Quebec County district. I'm now midway at 3400 families over 6800, with a lot of Irish families. During those days, Quebec City was a leader in the ship building industry with over 1500 workers. The population was at 46000 compared to 57000 for Montreal.
