Hello,

The transcription of Quebec City and the vincinities is now complete for the 1852 census. That's 40,000 individuals transcribed within 10,000 families or so. A lot of them have been checked against the Marcotte directory 1852 and BMS2000. Finally, the comparison function with the LAC transcriptions has been generally used, which leaded in many thousands of requests for corrections sent to LAC, thus improving considerably the quality of their data.

After the completion of that huge task which lasted 5 years, proofreaders are more than welcome.
