I can't find a whole geographical area in the 1911 census of the NWT.

I've seen several references to the 1911 census of the residents (almost all Inuit) living between Rankin Inlet, Wager Inlet, and Baker Lake, in what was then NWT (now Nunavut) along the west coast of Hudson Bay. The enumerator was Charles N. C. Hayter, an RNWMP officer stationed at Fullerton.

See http://www.ebooksread.com/authors-eng/c ... -ana.shtml for example. It reads in part: 'Report of Mr. Courtlandt Starnes. Sir — I have the honour to forward herewith my returns of the census of that part of Canada adjacent to the western shore of the Hudson Bay from Fort Churchill to the northern extremity of Melville peninsula, with the reports of the enumerators. For the better carrying out of the work I divided the district over which I was given charge into
three parts, for each of which I appointed an enumerator.... ...The third was given to Sergeant C. N. C. Hayter. This covered all the country north of Ranken Inlet. The ground covered by actual travelling by this officer was one patrol from Fullerton to Wager Inlet, one from Fullerton to near Baker Lake and one to Ranken Inlet. Owing to the nomadic character of these natives in that part of the country it was useless to try and fill up the regular census forms, and a statement was made as accurately as possible from information obtained. These people have no idea whatever of their age...'

What became of this census? I can't find it online. I see the first two subdistricts covered (the second by A. F. Borden of 'Egg Island' for instance), but nothing from 'Rankin Inlet North'.
What happened to the returns from this area? Are there parts of the 1911 NWT census that were destroyed or not microfilmed?

Thanks!
Chris
