Dear Automated Genealogy Website,

I have identified an error in my ancestors’ surname (Hugh McCleery) in the transcription of the 1851 New Brunswick census (“McClary” should have been typed “McCleery”): http://automatedgenealogy.com/censusnb51/SurnameSearch.jsp?sdid=37&surname=McClary

I validated this by referring to the 1851 New Brunswick census source document which clearly reads, "McCleery." : http://www.bac-lac.gc.ca/eng/census/1851/Pages/results.aspx?k=cnsSurname%3a%22McCleery%22+AND+cnsGivenName%3a%22Hugh%22+AND+cnsAge%3a%2250%22+AND+cnsProvinceCode%3a%22NB%22

Please confirm that you have received this email and that the entry is scheduled for correction?

Thank-you so much.

Martha MacCleery
(spelling of the name was later changed to "MacCleery" in the late 1800's after the family moved to Boston, MA U.S.A. from New Brunswick, Canada)
