I'm back in the gray weather of our beautiful country.
I've been using the 'Compare to LAC' function daily for the last 3 years in the 1852 census, mainly in Quebec City.
So far, I transcribed more than 30,000 entries in the Quebec City area in the 1852 census. A lot of them have been checked against the Marcotte directory for 1852 plus BMS2000 and then compared to LAC. This is why I could send to LAC a large amount of corrections.
When I started the 1852 transcription of the Quebec City area 5 years ago, the total number of families already transcribed was at 600 over a total of 6880 families. Today, the total is 6436, which means that I intend to finish that huge task next summer.
