On the 1911 Census Page 2, Line 26 of the Manitoba, 17 Lisgar, Township 4, Range 10 west of 1st meridian I believe the surname to be Dick and not Lick as transcribed. This gentleman was my ancestor and I believe he was working there at the time of the census. My ancestor was born in Feb 1888, Glasgow Scotland and sailed on the vessel Ionian arriving in Quebec on 28 June 1909.. The purser's record from the Ionian shows Arthur Dick's eventual destination to be LaPrairie. I do hope this makes sense and I'm not sending your transcriber on a wild goose chase.
