There is a strange situation involving http://automatedgenealogy.com/census/View.jsp?id=93849&highlight=29. she is linked to two 1911 records. At least one is wrong, possibly both.

First of all, her name was incorrectly transcribed in 1901. I have put in a correction.

The first 1911 link (to Pauline Ema Côté) was obviously made on thebasis of the partial first name match and the date of birth match. I have transcribed this page, and I now notice that the month of birth is incorrect (transcribed as October, and should be December). But I cannot correct it! When I go to this page, line 45 is missing! Even though it is linked!! :shock:

The second 1911 link is also strange. The correct link should be to line 15, not line 14 (based on the correct first name and correct date of birth). But I have no idea who is Eve Côté on line 14. I have checked the baptisms for this family, and they are as follows:
    Joseph Patrice 17/03/1890
    Maurice Mathieu 21/09/1891
    Marie Rosanna 18/10/1892
    Joseph Rémi 02/10/1894

These four match the first four children in 1901 (with Maurice Mathieu clearly being Hervey). So who is Eve? Either she was born in 1893, and baptised somewhere else (but not recorded in 1901?), or she might have been adopted (after 1901).

Bonjour Gilbert,

Bye,

McMichel.

Non, pas du tout.

j = janvier
m = mars
a = avril
