I am new to this site. Could you please explain why I found Mabel Woods in the 1906 census with a link to the 1911 census and it was Mabel Chambers. What is the significance.

Barger,
The link you have identified is 1901 to 1911 and NOT 1906 to 1911.

In this case you have identified a "Linking Error"
http://automatedgenealogy.com/census11/ ... l+Chambers
Mabel Chambers 6 years old in 1911 Nova Scotia is certainly NOT Mabel Wood as a 10 year old in 1901 Ontario.
http://automatedgenealogy.com/census/Vi ... Mable+Wood

In the future please correctly identify the Census year/province and preferably the Sub-district/Enumeration District and be particularily aware of the spelling used in the record. In this case Wood VS Woods in 1901 Census.

I am certain Alain will "unlink" this mistake soon.

Cheers

Dan

Barger & Dan,

The link between 1901 Wood Mable and 1911 Chambers Mabel has been removed.

Thanks,
