Michel,

Adjudication has been done.
Left one correction note for your review.
I amended the line notes.

Cheers,

Hello Alain,

Much appreciated your work. I pushed the research on Delvina Delisle. She was born as Delvina Kirouack, surname often pronounced as Guirouak. So I left a final correction on the page.

Thx again,

Michel.

Michel,

The name in parentheses in your line note should have an "e" as the last letter which is the way the enumerator wrote it:
Nee Kirouack (Guirouake).

Thanks for the extra reasearch to resolve this name.

Cheers,

Hello Alain,

I corrected the note. However, the family surname "Gurouse" should be corrected for "Delisle".

Just in case you didn't see it, I paste a note I posted to Mark. You might appreciate, if you didn't already know the existence of that facility:

"BTW, in the task of proofreading, I often use the Marcotte directories, edited for Quebec City and Levis mostly annually between 1822 and 1920. Those directories available online show heads of the families in alphabetical order and by street adresses. Since we can pick the street addresses in the 1901 and 1911 censuses, the Marcotte directories are very useful to find badly written names.

If you didn't use those so far, here is the address on Archives Nationales web site:

http://bibnum2.banq.qc.ca/bna/marcotte/

Unfortunately, the directory aren't available for 1901-1902 and for 1911-12. However, the surrounding years are quite helpful to decipher unproper writings of the names."

And of course, the directory is also available for 1852.

Michel.

Hi! Michel,

The correction of the surname of line 27 has been implemented.
Yes I had noticed your post about the "Annuaires Marcotte" and have it added under my favorite.

Thanks,
