Hello,

The Bienville subdistrict of Levis is in bad condition due to the very tiny calligraphy of the enumerator in 1911 and many faulty spellings in 1901. I worked hard to establish the links 1901-1911 for the whole subdistrict and made many searches that could help to decipher the surnames and given names.

So, the adjudication of that page would help as a start to progress in the updating of that subdistrict.

Thx so much,

Michel Dubois.

Hello,

This page has been left alone in the corner after a request for adjudication.

Isn't time to refurbish this subdistrict?

Thx a lot,

Michel Dubois.

Michel,

Thanks for the reminder, I had missed that one. I will check for any other unanswered requests.

The ref. page has been adjudicated. See line 28.

Thanks for your proofreading effort which greatly improve the transcription.

Cheers,

Hello Alain,

After a careful checking, I would suggest that the family surname would preferably be "Fournier".

Indeed, if you look at the surname "Foyle" on the same page, you'll notice that the "F" shape is rather round. On the other hand, for the surname "Touchette" appearing on the previous page, the "T" letter is clearly straight and linear.

BTW, if you want to exercise with that type of calligraphy, there are three pages ready for adjudication (Pages 13, 14 and 15):

Good luck and thx again, hoping that you appreciate the Laval Rouge et Or winning!

Michel.

Michel,

Pages 13 to 15 have been adjudicated and now contain some correction notes to pages 13 and 15, and a line note on line 15 because there are no correction on page 14.

Cheers,

Hello Alain,

Thx for your usual precision in adjudication.

I accepted each of your last recommended corrections for final adjudication.

For now, I pursue on the proofreading of the 1901 census in that subdistrict.

See you then.

Michel.
